These raboesch high quality propeller shafts have a large range of application. for simple electric boats which are made from abs, wood, please use rab300-00/04. rab300-01-03 have strong abs tubes which makes gluing to your scale model very simple. the other propeller shafts have brass tubes. rab300-11 has an extra strong shaft and tube.. The p bracket is glassed in normally with a bolt or piece of studding through a hole in the top of it inside the boat. depending on how well its been glassed on it might take one hour to remove or several!. A & p frames . mididrive p-frame propshaft support to support 4mm inner shaft or to fit over 6.35mm(1/4") shaft tube.
Shaft brackets can be bolted into the hull using the palm plate. p struts can be glassed into the hull or alternatively glassed in and bolted through and fittings secured with chock fast. fitting methods and procedures are to the designer or boat yards discretion.. You should then be able to undo the nuts and knock the bolts out through the hull and from the p-bracket. the p-bracket should now be loose, although it may require a knock or two to drive it from the hull. you will then have an appearance like this. i did the job to replace the p-bracket but you may be replacing the old one..
