Rawdon model boat club is based at larkfield tarn on the northwest outskirts of leeds, ls19 6eq the main club sailing days are wednesday and sunday with the iom section usually meeting on tuesday's and thursday's. members have access to our five acre lake seven days a week.. Rawdon club will be holding their second open day of the year on saturday august 12th 2017 with a full supporting cast of cooks and kitchen staff there will be food and drink on sale, plus a bring and buy stall and even lots of opportunity to sail your own boats..
I went over to rawdon for there open weekend on sunday, i think i chose the best day because it was 34 deg on the saturday. i was greeted with a very friendly welcome and some of our members from claro marine modelers where already there ..
